About Clonbroney Killoe St Catherine (Killoe)
Clonbroney Killoe St Catherine (Killoe) was built in 1824 in the Gothic Revival style. It has a cruciform plan, built of limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower, crenellated parapets, pinnacles and window tracery.
History
Lewis recorded that construction used a £900 gift from the Board of First Fruits and £200 from Willoughby Bond of Farragh House. Alterations in 1861 were designed by Gillespie and Welland, and the tower was probably added during that campaign.
