About Church of the Resurrection, Farranree
Church of the Resurrection, Farranree was built between 1955 and 1960. The church has rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows and mosaic work.
History
The church forms part of the group known as the Rosary Churches, constructed under Bishop Cornelius Lucey. Its design has been attributed to the architectural practice Fitzgerald Smith and Company.
