About Church of the Annunciation, Blackpool
Church of the Annunciation, Blackpool was built between 1940 and 1950. It has an eight-bay nave and rendered walls. Notable features include a three-stage tower, stained-glass windows and a marble altar.
History
The church occupies the site of the former St Nicholas church of the 1890s. Seamus Murphy worked on its design with architect E. P. O'Flynn.
