About Church of the Immaculate Conception, Watergrasshill
Church of the Immaculate Conception, Watergrasshill was built in 1895. It has a six-bay nave, built of squared sandstone. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
History
A plaque at the west entrance was reused from an earlier church that once stood opposite the present building. Terracotta surrounds frame the clerestory windows, and carved limestone columns form the internal arcade.
