About Church of the Holy Rosary, Bridge-A-Chrin
Church of the Holy Rosary, Bridge-A-Chrin was built in 1850. The church is built of squared limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
Notable features
The church features a window in the north nave depicting Doubting Thomas, painted by Michael Healy in 1923. The building is constructed of squared-and-snecked rubble limestone with stepped buttresses to the nave and clasping buttresses to the corners. A dressed limestone bellcote adorns the west gable, while the interior contains a west gallery, timber pews and exposed timber rafters.
