About Tullamore Presbyterian Church

Tullamore Presbyterian Church was built around 1865. It has a T-shaped plan, built of squared limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows.

The building

Constructed around 1865 at a cost of £300, this single-storey church features snecked limestone walls with ashlar pilasters supporting a frieze and pediment. The gable-fronted structure includes a set-back pedimented entrance porch with timber battened double doors. Round-headed window openings in the nave contain stained glass, while flanking bays have replacement timber casements. The site is bounded by a rendered wall with limestone coping and cast-iron railings.
