About Tullamore Methodist Church
Tullamore Methodist Church was built in 1889. It has a two-bay nave, built of squared limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows and lancet windows.
History
Designed by G. F. Beckett, the church was built in 1889 on Church Street. It stands on the site of two previous Methodist churches, dating from at least 1786, indicating a continuity of use of this plot. The building terminates a terrace and contrasts with the predominantly rendered elevations within the streetscape.
