History
Built in 1738, the church stands on the site of earlier churches associated with Saint Mullin's monastery. It was renovated around 1815 with the addition of a sandstone entrance tower and extended around 1823 to include a lower chancel. Further renovations occurred around 1975, when the tower was truncated to form a porch, and the roof was replaced in 1997.
