About Blessed Trinity
Blessed Trinity was built around 1830. It has a five-bay nave and rendered walls. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
The building
The church stands on a T-shaped plan with a five-bay nave, single-bay transepts, and a bowed apse. It features lancet-arch openings, rendered walls, and a slate roof with clay ridge tiles. An attached two-storey presbytery, dating from c.1850, connects to the apse and retains early aspects including timber sash windows. The site includes a graveyard with cut-stone markers and a c.1830 gateway of cut-granite piers with wrought iron gates.
