About SS Mary and Laurence
SS Mary and Laurence is a Roman Catholic parish church in Crookstown, Co. Kildare. It is part of the Dublin Archdiocese.
History
The parish records that the current church has served the parish community since the 1860s. It is the parish church of the parish of Narraghmore, in rural south Kildare.
Notable features
The church has a stained glass window in honour of Cardinal Paul Cullen, who was born close by in Ballitore. St Laurence O'Toole, co-patron of the parish, was born just outside Castledermot.
