About The Divine Word
The Divine Word is a Roman Catholic parish church in Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin. It is part of the Dublin Archdiocese.
History
The parish of the Divine Word, Marley Grange, was created in December 1981 from Churchtown parish, whose parent church was Rathfarnham. The land for the church was given by the Sisters of Loreto, of Loreto Abbey. The building, Teach an Phobail or the house of the people, was named the Church of the Divine Word and was dedicated on 6 December 1981.
