About St Scuithin, Castlewarrewn
St Scuithin, Castlewarrewn was built in 1830. It has a cruciform plan with a four-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a two-stage tower, stained-glass windows and a bellcote.
History
The church was extensively renovated after 1973, when its interior was reordered. It retains timber pews and carved Gothic-style Stations of the Cross, while the altar fittings date from the later scheme.
