About St. Paul's Church, Glenamoy
St. Paul's Church, Glenamoy was built in 1936. It has a simple single-cell form and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and buttressed walls.
The building
This detached six-bay double-height single-cell Catholic church was built in 1936 and apparently improved in 1999. It features a single-bay single-storey gabled projecting porch to the north front and rendered walls with stepped buttresses. The interior includes an encaustic tiled central aisle, timber pews, and an exposed pointed-arch braced collared timber roof construction.
