About St Patrick’s Church
St Patrick’s Church dates from 1840. It has a four-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and lancet windows.
Notable features
A canted chancel was added in 1932, and a sacristy is located to the west. The interior contains a carved stoup dated 1782. Three stained-glass windows, apparently dating from c.1930, were executed by the studio of Harry Clarke. A date-stone is set into the south-east long wall, and a Tudor-arch double-leaf timber door serves the gabled porch.
