About St Cuan's Church, Ahascragh
St Cuan's Church, Ahascragh was built around 1800. It has a five-bay nave and rendered walls. Notable features include a three-stage bell tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and a marble altar.
Notable features
The side aisles are divided by Tudor-arched arcades carried on round columns with Corinthian capitals. The roof has exposed collared timber trusses on painted stone corbels, and side altars occupy pointed-arched recesses.
