About St. Munchin's Church, Rockhill
St. Munchin's Church, Rockhill dates from 1842. It has a T-shaped plan with a three-bay nave and rendered walls. Notable features include a bellcote, an internal gallery and a marble altar.
The building
The nave porch has a pointed doorway with a diminishing moulded render surround, stepped approach and timber-battened double doors with wrought-iron strap hinges. The transept porches have shouldered square-headed entrances, and a king-post timber roof springs from rendered corbels inside.
