About St Michael's Church, Glinsk

St Michael's Church, Glinsk dates from 1843. It has a T-shaped plan and rendered walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include a bell tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and carved Stations of the Cross.

Notable features

A holy-water stoup in the porch is inscribed 'Erected by Revd William Harrington PP AD 1843'. Above it is a medieval carving of the Virgin and Child. The grounds also contain a carved limestone pedestal carrying a statue of the Virgin and a crucifixion group on a stepped plinth.
