About St Croan's Church, Ballymoe
St Croan's Church, Ballymoe was built around 1935. It has an eight-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include a bell tower, stained-glass windows and carved Stations of the Cross.
The building
The belfry is treated with Art Deco detailing and has a camber-headed bell opening. Inside, the nave is covered by a coffered barrel vault and the sanctuary is framed by a round arch, both characteristic details.
