About St. Patrick's Church, Glenamaddy
St. Patrick's Church, Glenamaddy was built around 1900 in the Gothic Revival style. It has a nine-bay nave under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and buttressed walls.
The building
The church has a lower single-bay chancel at the east end, side aisles and a single-storey sacristy attached at the north-west. The external walling uses large rusticated limestone blocks, with alternating limestone and red-brick surrounds to the clerestory and side windows.
