About St Bride's Church, Ballintubber
St Bride's Church, Ballintubber was built in 1898. It has a cruciform plan with a six-bay nave, built of limestone under a pitched tiled roof. Notable features include stained glass including a rose window, a bellcote and an open timber roof.
The building
The church has a chancel to the north and a sacristy to the north-east, with a toilet block added to the sacristy around 1997. The roofs have replacement terracotta ridge cresting and cut-stone and cast-iron finials, and the grounds are entered through rock-faced stone piers and cast-iron gates.
