About St. Mary's
St. Mary's was built between 1861 and 1864. It has a six-bay nave, built of squared limestone. Notable features include stained-glass windows, window tracery and buttressed walls.
History
The original side aisles were incorporated into the main body of the church. The site previously contained a T-plan Catholic chapel, and the interior of the present church was altered.
