About St. Mary's Church, Feohanagh
St. Mary's Church, Feohanagh dates from 1833. It has a T-shaped plan and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained glass including a rose window, a bellcote and pinnacles.
History
St Mary's Church in Feohanagh, Co. Cork, was constructed in 1833. The site was granted by Lord Muskerry of Springfield, who also donated much of the building fabric. The structure was reportedly built mostly by volunteer labour. It stands within its own grounds, enclosed by rendered walls with square-profile piers supporting double-leaf wrought-iron gates.
