About St. Ita's Church, Raheenagh
St. Ita's Church, Raheenagh was built around 1865. The church has rendered walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include a two-stage tower, stained-glass windows, a marble altar and window tracery.
History
Designed by architect William Fogerty and built by P. Scanlan from Bruff, St Ita's Church was constructed around 1865. It serves as one of two churches within the Killeedy parish. Later additions were made to the structure to accommodate an expanding congregation.
