About St. Mary's Church, Bofeenaun
St. Mary's Church, Bofeenaun was built between 1912 and 1913. It has a five-bay nave, built of squared limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained glass including a rose window and an internal gallery.
The building
The east doorway is round-headed and framed by a drag-edged cut-limestone block-and-start surround with moulded reveals and a hood moulding on label stops. It contains timber-boarded double doors fitted with decorative flat-iron hinges.
