St. Lawrence's, Clonmult was built around 1820. It has a T-shaped plan and rendered walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows and a bellcote.
The building
St Lawrence's is a freestanding T-plan Roman Catholic church built c. 1820. It features rendered walls with quoins, a gabled entrance porch, and a gabled sacristy. The pitched artificial slate roof is topped by a cut and carved limestone bellcote with a cross finial. Pointed arch windows contain stained glass, and the south gable window has a decorative corbelled hood moulding. A niche with a figure adorns the porch, while rubble stone boundary walls enclose the site and graveyard.
