About St. Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff
St. Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff was built in 1966 in the Modernist style. The church is built of brick. Notable features include a two-stage tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and mosaic work.
Notable features
The nave interior has an angled textured-plaster ceiling divided into triangular bays over angled concrete buttresses, with clerestory dormers between. Banded glazed brick forms the wall panels, mosaic tiling lines the aisles, and the church is approached by steps from the road.
