About St. Joseph
St. Joseph was built around 1940. It has a T-shaped plan with a five-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a four-stage tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and carved Stations of the Cross.
The building
A semi-circular apse terminates the west end, while canted flat-roofed porches occupy the re-entrant corners beside the transepts. The flat-roofed sacristy connects the church to a three-bay, two-storey presbytery.
