About St. James's Church, Cappagh
St. James's Church, Cappagh was built in 1839. It has a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and a marble altar.
History
Father Jeremiah Halpin built the church. Rendered buttresses with limestone detailing and ogee-style arched windows articulate the exterior, while the interior has a scissors-truss roof.
