About St. Brigid's, Tunnyduff
St. Brigid's, Tunnyduff was built in 1845. It has a T-shaped plan with a two-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower, stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
The building
The flat ceiling dates from 1953–55 and uses acoustic tiles with a thin cornice, while historic bench seating was installed in 1890. Marble altar rails have an arcade motif between piers, and the graveyard is bounded by rendered walls with stepped piers and ironwork gates.
