About St. Brendan’s Church, Birr
St. Brendan’s Church, Birr was built between 1817 and 1824. It has a cruciform plan under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a four-stage tower with a spire, an internal gallery, crenellated parapets and buttressed walls.
