About Saint John the Baptist, Hospital
Saint John the Baptist, Hospital was built in 1852 in the Gothic Revival style. It has a cruciform plan with a three-bay nave, built of squared limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and window tracery. It was designed by James Joseph McCarthy.
