About Church of St. Patrick & St. Brigid, Kilteely
Church of St. Patrick & St. Brigid, Kilteely was built around 1960 in the Romanesque Revival style. It has a ten-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower, stained-glass windows and an internal gallery.
The building
The porch has a recessed round-headed opening with a rendered surround, glazed overlight and timber-battened door. The interior is covered by a barrel-vaulted timber roof, while square-plan brick piers on the west side carry replacement metal gates.
