About Our Lady of the Assumption, Ballyporeen
Our Lady of the Assumption, Ballyporeen was built around 1870. It has a cruciform plan, built of squared sandstone under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
