About Our Lady and St. Kieran, Ballylooby
Our Lady and St. Kieran, Ballylooby was built around 1820. It has a cruciform plan with a three-bay nave and pebbledashed walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and a marble altar.
Notable features
The rear elevation has a five-light opening with ogee-headed lights, while circular windows are set high in the transepts. The main entrance is a four-centred arch within an ashlar limestone portal, with a chamfered surround and hood moulding. The north-east also contains a flat-roofed sacristy extension.
