About Our Lady of Lourdes, Inch

Our Lady of Lourdes, Inch was built around 1922. The church has rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and a marble altar. The church stands in its own graveyard.

History

Designed by J.P.M. McGrath of Derry for the Rev. M. O’Mullin, P.P., this neo-Norman style church replaced an earlier building nearby. Tenders were invited in August 1921, with work in progress by April 1923. The structure stands within a graveyard containing gravemarkers from 1909 to the present.
