About Burt Presbyterian Church

Burt Presbyterian Church was built around 1893. The church has rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and window tracery.

History

This is the second Presbyterian church on the site, serving a congregation in Burt that has existed since the seventeenth century. The current structure was built around 1893, replacing an earlier place of worship. It stands within large grounds that include a Sunday school, a caretaker's house, and a boundary wall with cast-iron gates.
