About Our Lady, Help of Christians, Swinford
Our Lady, Help of Christians, Swinford was built between 1885 and 1895. It has a seven-bay nave, built of squared sandstone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
Notable people
William Henry Byrne is identified as the church's architect. Edmund Sharp made the altar in 1891, while Bernard Joseph Taylor is named in connection with a wall memorial.
