Little Flower & Our Lady of Good Counsel, Brotenstown was built around 1840. It has a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a bell tower and stained-glass windows.

History

Erected in 1840 by Fr John Cantwell P.P., this Roman Catholic chapel was renovated around 1955. It is situated south of the Mullingar to Ballymahon road in Co. Westmeath. The building features a modern single-bay porch and a later mid-twentieth-century belfry, which complete the setting alongside decorative gates leading to a grotto.
