About St. Michael
St. Michael was built around 1840. It has a T-shaped plan and rendered walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows and window tracery.
Notable features
The church features a freestanding cast-on belfry to the north and a Tudor Gothic-arched doorcase with cut-stone detailing. Stained glass in the east window is attributed to Mayer of Munich and dated c.1902. The site includes a parochial house, boundary walls with cast-iron railings, and ashlar limestone gate piers with incised cross motifs, likely added around the same time as the chancel extension.
