About Kilternan St Tiernan (Golden Ball)
Kilternan St Tiernan (Golden Ball) was built between 1824 and 1826. It has a simple single-cell form, built of squared granite under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower with an octagonal spire, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and mosaic work.
