About Kilmeen Christ Church (Rossmore)

The building
This Church of Ireland church in Co. Wexford features a freestanding gable-fronted design with a three-bay nave and single-bay chancel. It includes a double-gable-fronted transept and two-bay sacristy additions to the north. The structure is characterized by rendered walls with an exposed rubble limestone plinth and a three-stage bell tower topped with limestone pinnacles. Pointed arch windows contain lead-lined stained glass and multi-foil rose windows, while the grounds are enclosed by rubble limestone walls with cast-iron gates.
