About Immaculate Conception, Moycullen
Immaculate Conception, Moycullen was built around 1960. It has a single-cell plan with a ten-bay nave and rendered walls. Notable features include a two-stage bell tower and stained-glass windows.
Notable features
The interior has a pointed barrel-vaulted rendered ceiling supported by concrete pillars and joists. A separate rubble-stone bell-cote to the north-west contains a cast-iron bell forged in 1862 for an earlier church.
