Galway City Baptist Church is a Baptist church in Knocknacarra, County Galway, a member of the Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland.
History
According to the church's own history, the congregation began in 1999 with a single family who had moved to Galway from Dublin. For a couple of years it met in a private sitting room, and in 2005 moved to the Clybaun Hotel. Numbers grew until the small conference room there was no longer sufficient, and in 2008 the congregation moved into the hotel's large function room, where each week half the room was converted for worship. In 2009 it moved again, to the newly built Knocknacarra National School.
