About Collooney St Paul
Collooney St Paul was built around 1720. The church is built of squared limestone under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include a bell tower, stained-glass windows, crenellated parapets and pinnacles. The church stands in its own graveyard.
History
The church was enlarged by additions to the transepts around 1835. A single-storey vestry occupies the north-east angle between the nave and north transept, and the north transept terminates in a single-bay gabled chancel.
