About Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drumsna
Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drumsna was built in 1845. It has a simple single-cell form and pebbledashed walls under a pitched tiled roof. Notable features include a two-stage bell tower, stained-glass windows and pinnacles.
The building
The front gable and entrance tower have castellations, with a date plaque above the porch. Ashlar limestone dressings contrast with the wall finish, while blind openings occupy the tower ground floor and louvred openings the first floor; grave markers stand in the churchyard.
