About Church of the Holy Souls, Keenagh
Church of the Holy Souls, Keenagh dates from 1916. It has a simple single-cell form under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and buttressed walls.
The building
The exterior is finished in grit-dashed roughcast over a battered rendered plinth with rendered corner strips. The central round-headed doorway has chamfered reveals and a hood moulding on beaded cavetto label stops, framing timber-panelled double doors approached by a poured-concrete ramp.
