About Church of the Holy Family, Youghal
Church of the Holy Family, Youghal was built around 1900. The church is built of rubble sandstone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows and lancet windows.
The building
The church has nine-bay side elevations and a central gabled entrance porch on the south side. At the east end the chancel is flanked by a two-bay sacristy and a two-bay side chapel.
