About Church of the Assumption, Tullaroan
Church of the Assumption, Tullaroan was built in 1826. It has a simple single-cell form and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, crenellated parapets and pinnacles.
History
The church was renovated in 1973 and its interior remodelled. The original internal scheme was lost following the Second Vatican Council; the remodelled interior includes a coffered or compartmentalised ceiling.
