About Church of the Assumption, Sandpit
Church of the Assumption, Sandpit dates from 1846. It has a single-cell plan with a six-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and crenellated parapets.
