About Church of St Mary, Knockbridge
Church of St Mary, Knockbridge was built around 1830. The church is built of squared limestone under a hipped slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and crenellated parapets.
Notable features
The interior has a painted rendered reredos and a baptismal font standing on polychromatic tiles. Outside, sandstone steps lead towards an entrance with ashlar-limestone gate piers carrying pyramidal caps and wrought-iron gates.
